Our presenter for Tuesday Talks will be Dr. Michal Pankratz! Dr. Pankratz practiced pediatrics at Texas Tech for over a decade, training medical students and residents, and founding the Foster Care Center of Excellence. She has been active in the Texas Pediatric Society, co-chaired their foster care committee, and chaired Superior Health Plan’s medical advisory committee for foster care. In 2023, she transitioned to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as the medical director for Child Protective Services, Child Protective Investigations, and Adult Protective Services. She continues to volunteer at the Sick Children’s Clinic to maintain her clinical skills.
